Since the site is maintained in cooperation with the Minnesota District Export Council and the Minneapolis U.S. Export Assistance Center of the US Department of Commerce, this privacy statement is included. The International Trade Administration (ITA) of the Department of Commerce, assists U.S. companies to export and enforces laws which protect American companies from unfair trade practices. This requires the collection of company data and, in some cases, personal information. Most sensitive business information is protected from disclosure by the Trade Secrets Act.
